CorPy: A Python-based tool for analyzing text corpora

While there are a number of tools out there for handling text corpora (AntConc, for example) I wanted to develop my own so that it could be more easily tailored to the kinds of problems I look to corpora to solve. I am a phonetician, so often these problems look very different from those of many corpus linguists. At present CorPy is very much in a development stage (for example, it only runs in Python at the moment, though I hope to create executables for Linux, Windows, and Mac at some point) but the code is available on Github if you wish to work with the prototype or issue a pull request to contribute to the project.
